Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by our experienced meet and greet service. You'll then connect to Akagera Aviation lounge to await your flight to Musanze airstrip, located near Volcanoes National Park.

Upon arrival, our driver-guide will welcome you and transport you to your lodge for afternoon relaxation. Following lunch, you'll visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus, a unique opportunity to learn about conservation efforts. Afterwards, return to your lodge for evening relaxation.

Day 3 – 2026: Golden Monkey Trekking & Departure.

Begin the day with a delicious morning breakfast, followed by an exciting adventure:

Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Embark on a unique journey to catch a glimpse of the endangered Golden Monkey. This striking primate, with its vibrant orange fur, is a photographer's dream amidst the lush green rainforests of the Virunga Mountains.

Highlights of the Golden Monkey Experience:

• Witness the energetic demeanor of these rare primates
• Observe sizable troupes of up to 30 individuals
• Enjoy a rare opportunity to spot the Golden Monkey, found in limited locations outside the park

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then depart for the Musanze airstrip and board a helicopter for a scenic transfer to Kigali. Upon arrival, connect seamlessly with your international departure flight.
